Welcome to L'Epicerie@56! Your local delicatessen in Hackney.
Our shop offers good quality, tasteful, traditionally-made (and when possible organic) fine food. Come and enjoy a selection of cheese, charcuterie, antipasti, quiches, wine and bread and pastries.
We're also a café where you can enjoy a cup of coffee together with freshly baked savouries and pastries, all of which you can eat in or take away.
Parties and business lunches are also catered for and delivered.

BAKERY
The bread, pastries, cakes and quiches are all baked overnight by our bakers Christophe & his team. For your special events, we would be happy to bake you a cake, what ever this should be! Please order at the shop or send us an e-mail
WINE
We offer a selection of good 'value for money' traditional wines. Please feel free to ask one of our staff for assistance when choosing wine to accompany a specific dish or cheeses, we have tasted them all! Wine is also available by the glass on our terrace.
CHEESE
Our cheese selection mainly come from Yves, a well-known cheese maturer in France, who exclusively deals with artisan producers, family run businesses and specialises in high quality dairy products.
CHARCUTERIE
Specially sourced selection of charcuterie from Italy, Spain and France including Rosette de Lyon, Bayonne ham, salami and saucisson sec. We also offer a well stocked traiteur counter with cooked ham, rillette, terrine and antipasti.
SEASONAL
We sell seasonal products such as Summer ice cream, Christmas, and Easter confectionery. Our products are mainly from France and Italy but also from various other countries such as North Africa, Greece and Spain.
GROCERY
You will find on our shelves a large range of groceries including: confectionery, preserves, spices, teas, coffees, juices, flour, baby products, cleaning products, and a variety of alcohol, champagne, wine and beers.
